You'll play as a young person in  the late Middle Ages. Every day you'll ride through battlefields, lonely forest paths, and amongst your people while evading threats, wounds, and dealing with strange visions.

With some dice, a deck of cards, a journal, and this guide, players will explore themes of oppression, hope, and longing for a better world.

  • Grab a beverage, lower the lights, maybe even light some candles, and solo journal your way through this RPG.
  • Uses items you already have at home such as: a deck of cards, six sided dice, and paper or a journal.
  •  Multiple play sessions are encouraged, as it is a storytelling game designed to lead you through a contemplative session. You'll get to play as a character from a different era whose personal and societal struggles make you ponder your own life situation.
  • Use the player sheet to track your progress, take notes, and create character attributes that will ensure a novel experience each time you play!

Inspired by Joan of Arc, Lord of the Rings, Mulan, Little Women,  and Ever After. The rules of the game are guided by The Wretched and Long Haul 1983; it uses card and dice mechanics to guide your journey through a war-torn countryside while you battle with religious, gender, and political oppression.
